New distribution company Houthandel Alblas
The problem
At the Gouwe Park business park in Moordrecht, a completely new distribution centre for Houthandel Alblas. The building consists of a fully pile-founded hall with an office building, at around 13,000 m2 and an external space around 7,000 m2. The condition of the walls within the building was that they were very robust. Also, in relation to the delivery date, it was an advantage that the walls could be assembled quickly and finished immediately.

The solution
For the partition walls and double walls, the 40 cm-wide FAAY panels with a vinyl finish were used. The result is good and the walls can be fitted quickly and easily. The choice of FAAY walls with a vinyl finish was made quickly, partly because of the robustness, quick assembly time and because they are immediately finished. Vinyl is durable, colourfast, scratch-resistant, hard-wearing, impact-resistant and completely washable. It is therefore ideal for use in offices and meeting rooms. The IW148 was used for the meeting room and management room, as this required higher standards of soundproofing.
