The ceiling system of GP22 units is ideal for the renovation and maintenance markets and utility building. These units are often used because they have excellent fire resistance and soundproofing qualities.

Perfect home separation Where the Buildings Decree requires an Icok of +5 dB for home-separating situations, up to +12 dB is possible with a FAAY ceiling! There is no contact with the floor above so this system is ideal for home-separating ceilings!

A completely smooth ceiling
GP22 consists of a double plasterboard with a 2.5 mm chipboard in between.
If the system has to be both fire and soundproof, an insulating blanket of 65 mm is fitted to the underside of the floor structure. These blankets can be laid against the steel sections for just soundproofing. The result is a completely smooth ceiling which does not show irregularities even under skimming light.
